If you play your music loud and want others to know it, the R-Series speakers are for you. You'll enjoy a central soundstage with speakers that play loud and clear without distortion. The R-series speakers are tuned to focus on the high and low frequencies, so they produce a powerful and natural sound that is bright, active. They are perfect for systems with R-series subwoofers and amplifiers.

Alpine presents the 3rd generation of the legendary R-series speakers, which are developed using innovative materials for more power and simply amazing sound. You can choose from a professional and standard line of speakers to suit your desired sound quality and budget.
2-way component PRO speakers
R2-S652 is the new 2022 R-series 2-way PRO speaker model. The set includes a 16.5 cm door woofer and a 4.3 cm tweeter that reproduces a frequency of up to 40 kHz.
Fiberglass reinforced cone
The door woofer and midrange driver feature brand new fiberglass reinforced cones. This material is very stiff and extremely light, resulting in extremely fast response and extremely accurate music reproduction.
Cast aluminum body and large magnets
In PRO models (R2-S635 and R2-S652 ) use high-quality aluminum bodies, so they are very rigid and can hold heavier magnets without deformation. This allowed our engineers to fit larger magnets than previous generation speakers (while maintaining the same mounting depth).
Hi-Res Audio certified Hard Dome tweeter
Brand new magnesium hard dome tweeters ensure clear and detailed music reproduction and play up to 40kHz (Hi-Res Audio). You can install them in a threaded housing (for example, in a door panel) or use the included brackets for installation in the instrument panel. The tweeters can be rotated in the housing to point them directly to your favorite location.
High-frequency speaker, easily adapted for installation in the places of factory speakers
You can simply remove the R-Series tweeter's mounting frame and trim ring to reduce its overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is then small enough to fit into many OEM tweeter locations (inside pillars, mirror triangles or door trim) for stealth installation.
Adjustable PRO X-Over
This large-sized low-pass filter contains many high-quality components, selected for the best sound quality. You can adjust the midrange speaker level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB, and the tweeter level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB.
HAMR ring
Alpine's HAMR speaker ring (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for maximum cone movement while maintaining excellent control. This results in strong bass at high volumes without distortion.
New speaker grill
The new hexagonal design of the speaker grilles looks very aggressive and does not increase the overall diameter of the speaker installation.
