Universal floorstanding speaker for modern lifestyle
The Wilson Seven floorstanding loudspeakers are the largest passive loudspeakers in the Digits line. It is a versatile 3-way bass reflex speaker that works well with conventional stereo systems, amplified file streamer systems, or as front speakers for 2.0, 2.1, or other multi-channel home theater systems.
The characteristics and power of these speakers suggest their use in larger rooms, where they will fully develop their acoustic capabilities.
Classic cellulose membranes and high quality driver design
The membranes of the two 6 ½” woofers and one 5 ½” mid-bass driver are made of cellulose with a special internal structure. This solution is often used in many more expensive drivers due to its strength and low dead weight. The membranes are mounted on rubber suspensions, allowing for high dynamics and high bass performance.
Neodymium magnet in the tweeter
Tweeters, mounted on black-colored round plates that secure them to the cabinet, are built using powerful neodymium magnets, typical of high-end drivers. The mechanical layout of the drivers is an example of high precision craftsmanship and advanced design calculated to minimize any adverse effects on the sound.
Double Bass Reflex and Bi-wiring option
Two large bass ports are located at the rear of the cabinet just above the dual speaker terminal board, in the lower part of the speaker, in the socket cavity. This solution allows for bi-wiring connection. Large, convenient to use nuts pointing upwards were used, and their contacts are coated with gold.
Specially developed crossover
The crossover developed for this driver array has been put together in a system ensuring consistency of sound of all elements in this construction.
Unique trapezoid shape of the cabinet
The cabinets are made of thick MDF panels and have a characteristic trapezoid shape with a narrower apex being the width of the rear panel. This design gives a decidedly lighter appearance to the rather tall speaker, and stability is ensured by the base, also trapezoidal in shape, which is directly connected to the cabinet.
Special design with "C" shape walls
A characteristic feature of these loudspeakers is a combination of cabinet wall elements in such a way, that the front panel and the top panel made of a slightly thinner board and the base plinth form a ""C"" shape when viewed from the side. The side and rear panels, on the other hand, are covered with vinyl with visible wood grains in two different color finishes. Two options are available: a Black Oak cabinet with a satin black front and a second, Light Oak cabinet with a white front.
Two sets of grills in two different colors and structure in the package
The grilles cover about 2/3 of the height of the speaker fronts and are made of a special material covered with acoustically neutral material. Each speaker is equipped with two grills with different texture and color, which allows them to fit very well into the style of the living room.
Modern style solution for every room
For the Light Oak speakers, the included grilles are gray and black, and for the Black Oak speakers, there are two different versions in black, but with different textures. One is standard matte, the other is a slightly glossy, smooth finish. Grilles are magnetically attached to the cabinets, which improves the appearance of the speaker fronts by avoiding the need for mounting holes.
