The Sub AT33 excels in music playback, subtly supporting the lowest octaves, and also roars impressively in home cinema setups.

Like the AT21, the Sub AT33 was initially designed for recording studios and later embraced by audiophiles. It features a 33 cm driver at the front and an unconventional 26 cm driver at the rear, consistent with the series. The cabinet volume allows the bass to be expressed without processing. It reaches down to 28 Hz with an enormous 101 dB sensitivity, making it an ideal partner for the AT21 if you seek the lowest octaves. It comes with a built-in 500 W amplifier—the S500 Atohm—with adjustable phase and crossover frequency. These exceptional features allow it to fit in any listening environment—from large rooms to intimate studios and audiophile living rooms. For optimal integration with the AT21 or AT16, a crossover between 45 Hz and 55 Hz at 12 dB per octave with a 180-degree phase is recommended, although this may vary depending on your room acoustics and subwoofer placement.
