Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2025): full sound insulation

This Mercedes-Benz Sprinter received very thorough, technically advanced full body sound insulation, aimed at suppressing noise, vibrations and resonances as much as possible, both while driving and while working with the vehicle.

Work carried out

• The entire body was lined on the inside with Comfort Mat Spider 3.5 mm vibration damping
• As a second layer (everywhere except the cab) we used Comfort Mat Integra 6 mm for additional noise absorption
• The wings were treated on the inside with Comfort Mat Titan 8 mm
• Felt was applied in 4-6 layers in all cavities for maximum sound absorption
• The roof was insulated the same way as the body: Spider + Integra
• The cab area was insulated with Spider, with the much denser Comfort Mat Raptor 4 mm as the second layer
• Front doors: Spider + Comfort Mat Blockshot 8 mm
• The wheel arches were covered on the outside with Comfort Mat Titan 8 mm. All seams were additionally bonded with construction adhesive so the materials do not shift or separate. The treated areas were then sprayed with Gravitex, which forms a tough rubber-plastic layer resistant to moisture, stones and mechanical impact
• The mirrors were additionally insulated from the outside with Tsunami
• The front wing liners were also lined with Tsunami
• The cabin heater, which sits under the floor and carries sound into the cabin through the air, was fully insulated:
  -Vibration damping: Spider
  -Second layer: Integra
  -Seams treated
  -Surface coated with Gravitex to withstand stones and the elements
• The engine bay was also sound insulated: the covers and all plastic parts were treated

Result

After the work, the Sprinter became noticeably quieter: road, engine and wind noise dropped, vibrations disappeared, and overall driving and working comfort reached a completely different level. This is a solution for those looking for maximum quiet and a professional result.
