Skoda Kodiaq (2016-2023): sound system installation, custom subwoofer, partial sound insulation

A custom subwoofer enclosure and a Focal K series system. Work carried out:

• Built a custom bass reflex subwoofer enclosure in the boot under the rear floor cover, so the bass pressure reaches the cabin effectively.
• Installed two-way Focal K series component speakers, delivering clear and dynamic sound.
• Made pods in the door mirror triangles for the tweeters and rings inside the doors for the Focal woofers.
• The front doors were sound insulated to reduce vibrations and noise.
• A Helix P Six DSP amplifier was installed under the driver's seat: it drives the whole system and allows it to be tuned precisely to the car's acoustics.

Result: a complete, powerful and precisely tuned sound system that offers a whole new listening experience.
