Kas yra halogeninė lemputė ir kuo ji skiriasi nuo LED?

Halogeninė lemputė šviečia įkaitintu vario filamentu, esančiu inertinių dujų (halogeno) aplinkoje. Šviesa šilta, geltonesnė (~3200K), spektras pilnas. LED šviečia diodais – šaltesnė šviesa (4000–6500K), didesnis šviesumas, ilgesnis tarnavimas. Halogenas suderinamas su senesniais automobiliais ir nereikalauja CAN-BUS adapterio.

Kokias halogenines lemputes rinktis – standartines ar +150%?

Standartinės (Bosma, Osram Original) – pigios, pakankamai šviečia kasdienam naudojimui, ilgas tarnavimas (~1000 val.). +150% (Osram Night Breaker Laser, Philips X-tremeVision) – iki 150% daugiau šviesos, geresnis matomumas naktimis ir lyjant, bet trumpesnis tarnavimas (~400 val.) ir 2–3x brangesnės. Kuri formuluotė tinka mano automobiliui (H1, H4, H7)?

H7 – plačiausiai naudojama europiniuose automobiliuose (Golf, Octavia, A4, Focus) artimosioms šviesoms. H4 – senesni modeliai su dvigubomis lemputėmis (artimosios + tolimosios viena lempa). Ar galiu liesti naują halogeninę lemputę pirštais?

Ne – plikomis rankomis stiklo paviršiaus liesti negalima. Pirštų riebalai kaitinami lempos darbo metu sukelia karštus taškus, kurie sutrumpina lemputės gyvavimą ar net suskaldo stiklą. Imkite lemputę už pagrindo (cokolio) arba per švarią šluostę. Jei netyčia palietėte – nuvalykite spiritu ar acetonu prieš montavimą.

Ar verta keisti halogenines lemputes į LED?

LED duoda 2–3x daugiau šviesos ir tarnauja 10–25x ilgiau, bet keitimas nėra visiškai paprastas. Daugumai automobilių reikia CAN-BUS adapterio elektronikos klaidoms išvengti, kai kuriems – ir specialiu radiatoriumi aušinami modeliai. Be to, LED gali būti neteisėtos tam tikrose šalyse, jei automobilis nebuvo sertifikuotas LED apšvietimui. Pasitikrinkite teisėtumą prieš keisdami.
