2016 - pursuing perfection. Creating a great woofer at an affordable price. Suitable for Plug&Play installation in BMW underseat OEM locations. Decades of experience working with high-quality speaker manufacturers helped us understand that even the smallest details make a big difference to the final result.

2017 - testing and completion. Product development reached a stage where raw material for the final product was produced. These were installed in a car that participated in EMMA (European Mobile Media Association) car audio competitions in the Master OEM class. The result was the Finnish Championship. The rest of the year was dedicated to every small detail and preparing the product for production. To achieve the best price-performance ratio, it was named Four Audio SW8-BMW.

2018 - towards the best. The great woofer was now ready for production. Using it as a starting point, it was time to take the next step. Towards the best woofer. The frame, cone, and surround were already the best. The magnet was changed to a dual magnet to achieve a higher BL for even better cone control. By modifying the spider, even more low frequencies were achieved. To play lower, more cone travel and higher power handling are needed. These things were achieved by changing the voice coil. Thus, the AI-Sonic BMW-SW8 was born.

2019 - great and best. Done. The only thing left is to make a decision. Do you want great woofers at an affordable price? Or do you want to pay a little more for the best ones? Regardless of how you choose, you will certainly get the best value for money.

This speaker is not directly suitable for use in BMW Top HiFi (Harman/Kardon, Logic7, HiFi System Professional DSP, etc.) systems with codes S688A/S677A/S752A. This is because the amplifier cannot handle a 2-ohm load. However, these speakers work perfectly with the HiFi package S676A and S674A, as well as the basic package without an OEM amplifier.
