Glass-Fiber Reinforced Cone

2-way component speakers

R2-S65C is the new 2022 model. R-series 2-way component speaker model. The set includes a 16.5 cm door woofer and a 4.3 cm tweeter that reproduces a frequency of up to 40 kHz.

Fiberglass reinforced cone

The door woofer features brand new fiberglass reinforced cones. This material is very stiff and extremely light, resulting in extremely fast response and extremely accurate music reproduction.

Composite body and large magnets

Standard models (R2-S65C, R2-S65 , R2-S69C and R2-S69 ) have composite bodies (compared to the cast aluminum bodies of the PRO models), which makes them cheaper. They fit larger magnets than previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).

Hi-Res Audio certified Hard Dome tweeter

Brand new magnesium hard dome tweeters ensure clear and detailed music reproduction and play up to 40kHz (Hi-Res Audio). You can install them in a threaded housing (for example, in a door panel) or use the included brackets for installation in the instrument panel. The tweeters can be rotated in the housing to direct them to your favorite location.

Easy-Fit Tweeter in OEM Locations

High-Pass X-Over Network

High-frequency speaker, easily adapted for installation in the places of factory speakers

You can simply remove the R-Series tweeter's mounting frame and trim ring to reduce its overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is then small enough to fit into many OEM tweeter locations (inside pillars, mirror triangles or door trim) for stealth installation.

Low-pass X-Over filter

These small X-Over filters are very easy to install - in some cases you can leave the original wiring in the car door by simply installing this filter, saving you a lot of time during installation. You can adjust the tweeter level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB.

HAMR Surround

HAMR ring

Alpine's HAMR speaker ring (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for maximum cone movement while maintaining excellent control. This results in strong bass at high volumes without distortion.

New speaker grill

The new hexagonal design of the speaker grilles looks very aggressive and does not increase the overall diameter of the speaker installation.
