With an impressive 300 W RMS power and 900 W maximum power, the new generation 8" S-series subwoofers deliver exceptional performance value. A wide frequency range from 35 Hz to 215 Hz and a sensitivity of 83 dB (SPL@1W/1m) ensure a powerful and precise bass reproduction in various music genres.
Construction of HAMR
The next-generation S-Series subwoofers feature Alpine's High Amplitude Multilayer (HAMR) suspension construction technology. This rubber surround allows the woofer cone to move air efficiently while keeping it cool. This technology allows for a 13mm speaker cone travel that creates incredible woofer precision.
Improved sound pressure
With a lightweight yet strong combination of carbon fiber and polypropylene, the Next-Gen S-Series woofer cone reproduces deep, low-distortion bass that adds depth and richness to your music.
Flexible customization
A dual voice coil (DVC) with easy configuration jumpers makes it easy to install the S-Series subwoofers. A new screw-on grill mounting system allows for easy installation and removal of optional grills without mounting screws for added speaker protection.

Maximize the potential of your S-Series subwoofers with Alpine's perfectly matched S-Series amplifiers. Easily power one or two subwoofers with the S2-W8D2 with 600W S2-A60M mono amplifier, or for even greater impact, combine two or more S2-W8D2 subwoofers with a powerful 1200W S2-A120M amplifier to ensure optimal sound quality and performance.
