DESCRIPTION

A professional navigation solution for trucks, campers, and caravans. Use specialized maps designed for caravans, campers, and trucks, and you won't have to worry about ending up on a road where your vehicle is not allowed.

The player is fully compatible with the latest smartphones, such as iPhone 7 or Galaxy S7, and allows you to use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the player's high-resolution 8" touchscreen.

DAB+ digital radio tuner, video playback from USB, HDMI connection, and the most advanced Bluetooth technologies - all of this is also integrated into this player.

You can even choose one of three navigation solutions: the X803DC-U integrated iGo Primo NextGen navigation system with TomTom maps and a 3-year free map update period. You can also use Maps navigation with Apple CarPlay or Google navigation with Android Auto. Both systems - Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - can use the Alpine navigation antenna for more accurate current position detection.


High-resolution WVGA touchscreen

The 8-inch high-resolution WVGA screen allows the entire system to be controlled via touchscreen, and the latest image reproduction technologies ensure exceptionally clear, high-contrast, and high-resolution images. Thanks to these technologies, navigation maps are displayed with stunning detail, and the quality of movies or video recordings creates a true cinema experience. The system control is convenient and intuitive, designed to integrate perfectly into your car. A wide range of screen backlight colors allows you to choose the one you like best and that suits your car's design.

8-inch screen with 1 DIN chassis

Many cars have space for players with 7-inch or 8-inch screens, but often there isn't enough space for a 2 DIN player chassis. The new SMART is an example of such a car. To solve this problem, Alpine created the X803DC-U - a player with an 8" screen and a 1 DIN chassis. Using Alpine's mounting kits for specific car models, you can perfectly install the player and make it look like it was factory-installed in your car.


Works with Apple CarPlay

The X803DC-U, which works with Apple CarPlay, allows you to intelligently use your iPhone while traveling. Apple CarPlay enables iPhone users to incredibly intuitively make or answer calls, use maps, listen to music, or view messages by voice command or a simple touch of the screen. Stay connected and enjoy Spotify, internet radio stations, or music recordings while traveling. Simply connect your CarPlay-enabled iPhone to the Alpine player's USB port and you're ready to go!

Works with Android Auto

Android Auto was created with road safety in mind. A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multifunctional steering wheel buttons, new voice commands - all this is designed so that you can focus all your attention on safe driving. Android Auto automatically provides you with useful information, which is presented as separate notes when needed. Both systems - Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - can use the X803DC-U navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current position of the car.


DAB+ digital radio

The integrated DAB/DAB+/DMB receiver uses the most advanced digital technologies, ensuring stable and clear reception of radio programs. DAB+ also provides many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or genre of the broadcast program.

USB and HDMI ports

You can connect USB flash drives or portable players and play music or MP4 video recordings. The X803DC-U also has an HDMI port for connecting an additional Alpine DVE-5300 DVD player or another portable media player with HDMI output. If your phone manufacturer offers an HDMI adapter for a smartphone, you can connect your phone and watch photos or videos directly on the Alpine screen (an additional cable or adapter is required). The X803DC-U HDMI port can also be used as an output for connecting additional monitors.

Note: The HDMI output is only for transmitting HDMI input signals, so you will not be able to see USB video recordings, the navigation screen, or Apple CarPlay or Android Auto content on screens connected to the HDMI output.



High-end sound adjustment functions

The X803DC-U will fill your car with excellent quality sound, whose bass sound is enhanced and overall frequency balance is regulated by the advanced BASS ENGINE SQ sound processor, providing a multitude of sound adjustment options - digital time correction, frequency filters, and a dual 9-band parametric equalizer. Best of all, you can adjust all these settings with your smartphone using the Alpine TuneIt App. Also for your convenience: Media Xpander, 24-Bit DAC, and 3 pairs of line outputs (4V).

Hi-Res Audio playback

The Alpine player can play FLAC audio files – including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio.



Integrated iGo Primo NextGen navigation

iGo Primo NextGen is currently one of the best navigation programs. Together with Alpine hardware and processor power, you will get a very accurate and fast navigation system for your car. For example, calculating a route from Munich to Paris takes only a few seconds. The system is equipped with many useful and unique navigation features, starting with partial address recognition by entering only part of the address, TMC traffic information messages, 3D landmark icons, and many other features. It also includes data on hundreds of thousands of points of interest (POI), making it easier to find a restaurant or other location.

TomTom maps and free map updates for 3 years

A navigation system is only as good as its maps: the X803DC-U uses excellent TomTom maps for 48 European countries. For three years from the first activation of the navigation, you can download and update your Alpine navigation system maps for free from alpine.naviextras.com - without any restrictions on how often you can update the maps. After the 3-year period, you will be able to purchase map updates for the desired region or all of Europe at a very attractive price.


park4Night inside

This navigation system comes pre-installed with the popular park4night camper software. The extensive database offers over 120.000 camping sites across Europe and works fully offline on the go anywhere you are. You can search right on your Alpine screen for your next camping site by category, country or region - along your route or at a final destination. Icons give you detailed information about the opening hours and available services of each camping site (such as WiFi, laundry or waste-water disposal availability) and you can see the distance, user ratings, comments and even images to pick the right camping site for your needs. Call ahead or start route guidance to your selected camping ground with a single push of a button. There is a yearly update of the database to include all the latest camping grounds and up-to-date user ratings and comments. park4night inside comes pre-installed on all Alpine X903 DC series motorhome navigation systems shipped after June 1st 2020. You can also add the park4night database to any X903 DC series purchased prior to this date by purchasing and installing MHS-P4N (park4night USB update stick). Note: X901 and X902 series systems are not compatible with park4night.


Specify your vehicle dimensions

One of the unique features of this navigation system is that you can specify your vehicle's height, length, width, weight, as well as whether the vehicle has a trailer or not. During route calculation, this data is taken into account and the most suitable route is selected according to your vehicle's parameters.

Enter cargo parameters

Cargo parameters can be no less important than vehicle dimensions: in many areas, there are strict restrictions on the transport of dangerous goods. This navigation system calculates the route according to the specified cargo parameters (explosive, flammable, toxic, etc.), avoiding areas prohibited for such cargo transportation.


Interactive navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, providing voice announcements of upcoming intersections and visual, easy-to-read warnings. As you approach an intersection, the map screen zooms in so you can clearly see which direction to take. Throughout the route, large signs and directions will indicate the correct direction and warn you how much of the journey remains. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant, or cafe and indicate how much time you will spend stopping at the selected location. Press the X803DC-U navigation button twice to directly enable Apple CarPlay, without navigating through menu selections.

Interactive navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, continuously updated traffic information, lane guidance recommendations, and many other useful features. Whether you use it on your phone or car player screen, Android Auto was designed with road safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple control, all this allows the driver to stay focused on the main goal - safe driving. The X803DC-U works seamlessly with Android Auto and Google Maps. Android Auto can use the X803DC-U navigation antenna to determine the current car position more accurately.



GPS and Glonass

More satellites means greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. Using Apple CarPlay navigation and Glonass, you will appreciate this improvement very quickly.

Integrated Bluetooth® technologies

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to connect your phone wirelessly and use it for hands-free calls. The highly intuitive control interface allows you to easily select the necessary microphone and volume settings. Speed dial buttons are for frequently used phone numbers. Bluetooth® also allows you to listen to music recordings from your phone or even internet radio broadcasts through the Alpine audio system.



Connection to the car's Data-Bus system

If your car has a parking sensor system, the X803DC-U will allow you to continue using this parking assistant. Alpine data-bus interfaces allow you to connect the navigation to the car's data system. This allows you to continue using the multifunctional steering wheel buttons and see air conditioning system and parking assistant information on the player's screen. You can even see navigation system directions about upcoming intersections on the multifunctional screen in the speedometer (if the car's system supports this function).

Cameras for driver assistance

A rearview camera is a great help when parking. This camera turns on automatically when reverse gear is engaged, and the vehicle outline marking guides displayed on the screen can be adjusted to your car's dimensions. Alpine manufactures a range of front and rear view cameras for cars, including cameras with different viewing angles, controllable via the players' touchscreens. You can simultaneously view the camera image and parking sensor information on the player's screen.


Favorites

Wouldn't it be convenient to see the most important phone numbers, favorite radio stations, and frequently needed travel addresses on one screen? That's exactly what the Favorites option provides. Press the audio button for one second to activate the Favorites option.

Voice control

Press the VOICE button on the Alpine player or multifunctional steering wheel (if it supports this function) to activate SIRI or OK Google. You can make calls, set a destination for the navigation system, dictate and send messages, or simply say the name of the desired song - these are just a few examples. This is a very advanced way to control the Alpine system while driving safely.
