Alpine introduces the 2nd generation Alpine Style system for Golf 6: perfect system integration and the latest features.

Only Alpine offers the largest possible screen (9") and the widest range of media functions, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You will also enjoy the excellent sound quality and extensive sound settings of this amazing system.

High-resolution 9" touchscreen

Transform your car's dashboard into part of a high-class cinema: the highlight of the Alpine system is the high-resolution 9" diagonal screen - the largest screen you can imagine on a Volkswagen dashboard. In fact, it's more than twice the size of the original 5" diagonal screen of VW Golf 6 RNS 310/315 players. This extra-large screen will stun you with its high-resolution image quality - you have to see it to believe it.

Multifunction steering wheel controls

The Alpine system is connected for control with multifunction steering wheel buttons. This means that by installing the Alpine system in your car, you will not lose the convenience of controlling it with multifunction steering wheel buttons - volume, phone, track skipping, and many other commands. If you have an iPhone, you can even activate Siri by pressing a steering wheel button.

Driver Information Display

The small screen on the dashboard also remains connected to the Alpine system and indicates radio station names, song and artist information, calls, navigation turn-by-turn indications, and much other information.

Parking sensors

Does your car have an original parking sensor system? With the Alpine multimedia system installed, you will not lose this parking system. The parking system connects to Alpine, and you will see parking system information on the screen. During car parking, the music volume is reduced so that you can hear the parking system warning signals. The i902D-G6 / X902D-G6 2nd generation parking system display is even more detailed.

Rear view camera

Does your Golf 6 have a rear view camera? You can also connect it to the Alpine system (an additional adapter is required). The camera is activated when reverse gear is engaged.

Vehicle parameter information

The Alpine system is fully compatible with the Golf 6's electronics system, so you'll see vehicle information, such as oil temperature or turbo pressure, on the 9" screen.

Compatible with Dynaudio sound system

Alpine Style systems are compatible with the original Golf 6 Dynaudio sound system. An additional KWE-DY01G6 interface is required to connect the Alpine Style player to the Dynaudio amplifier.

Start-up logo

The Alpine system turns on automatically when the driver unlocks the car with the key. Upon startup, a welcome logo appears on the screen, and the system loads, so it is fully ready for use when passengers enter the car. Alpine provides 4 main welcome logos (Golf, GTI, GTD, or R), but it's very easy to create your own custom logo and upload it to the system.

Air conditioning display

The i902D-G6 / X902D-G6 displays information on the screen about the selected driver and passenger zone temperatures, air conditioning system settings, seat heating, fan, etc. This information appears on the screen for a few seconds when adjusted.

Wireless charging console

A very convenient Golf 6 upgrade is the wireless charging console KCE-G6Qi. This small rubberized pad fits perfectly in the central console of the Golf 6 and provides Qi-type wireless charging for phones that support this technology. KCE-G6Qi can be used with any original Golf 6 radio or other audio system.

Enjoy the large screen

On the large Alpine system screen, you can watch movies, music videos, or TV shows from various video sources - DVD (optional), USB drives, smartphones with HDMI interface (additional cable or adapter required), or other video sources. You can also connect your iPod or iPhone and enjoy videos on the 9" high-resolution screen. During traffic jams, you can watch TV shows - for this, the new Alpine DVB-T2 tuner (TUE-T220DV) is designed. For road safety, video playback is only possible when the car is stationary.

Works with Apple CarPlay

The innovative i902D-G6 / X902D-G6, powered by Apple CarPlay, allows smart use of your iPhone while traveling. Apple CarPlay allows iPhone users to incredibly intuitively make or answer calls, use maps, listen to music, or view messages via voice commands or a simple touch of the screen. Stay connected and enjoy Spotify, online radio stations, or music recordings while traveling. Simply connect your CarPlay-enabled iPhone to the Alpine player's USB port, and you're ready to go!.

Works with Android Auto

Android Auto was designed with road safety in mind. A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multifunction steering wheel buttons, new voice commands - all this is designed so that you can focus all your attention on safe driving. Android Auto automatically provides you with useful information, which is presented as separate notes when needed. Both systems - Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - can use the i902D-G6 / X902D-G6 navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current car position.

Integrated Bluetooth® Technologies

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to use your mobile phone by connecting it wirelessly. Regular software updates ensure connectivity with the latest phones. The intuitive user interface makes usage easy and simple. Bluetooth® allows music streaming from your phone: audio recordings or even internet radio broadcasts are wirelessly transmitted to the Alpine audio system.

Connect your smartphone

Don't want to use Apple CarPlay or have, for example, an iPhone 4 / 4S? You can connect it and listen to music in your car or charge your phone's battery.

DAB/DAB⁺ digital radio

The integrated DAB/DAB⁺/DMB tuner uses advanced digital technologies to ensure stable and clear reception of radio programs. DAB also offers many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or broadcast program genre.

Optional DVD player

Extend your Alpine system with DVD and CD playback capabilities. DVE-5300G fits perfectly in the original VW CD player's location in the Golf 6 glove compartment. Video quality is ensured by HDMI technologies, and you control the player with the system's touchscreen. All necessary mounting parts are included.

Hi-Res Audio playback

The Alpine player can play FLAC format audio recordings – including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio.

Professional equalizer

The i902D-G6 / X902D-G6 provides the widest range of sound settings to allow you to tune the Golf sound system to your needs and requirements. The integrated dual 9-band parametric equalizer allows professional and precise adjustment of separate settings for front and rear speakers. For connecting the Golf 6 Dynaudio sound system, an additional adapter KWE-DY01G6 is required.

Standard sound settings

10 standard sound settings allow quick switching between different sound equalizer parameter presets, such as Rock, Pop, or Jazz.

Fader and balance

Move the listening position marker on the touchscreen to the desired location in the car's cabin, thereby changing the fader and balance settings.

Frequency filters

A digital frequency filter allows you to set frequency filtering limits so that the audio signal matches the parameters of the car's speakers, and the sound is reproduced cleanly, without distortion.

Digital time correction

Time correction allows you to virtually adjust the distance from each speaker to the listener's position, delaying the time of the closest speakers. This creates the sensation that the listener is in the center between the speakers.

Mobile navigation

Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are equipped with excellent navigation apps that can be controlled and displayed on the Alpine 9" touchscreen. This is especially convenient for drivers who do not need navigation often and do not require additional navigation features such as highway mode, etc. If you plan to use these navigation apps when traveling outside your country, pay attention to internet data charges abroad.

Direct mobile navigation access

On the right side of the i902D-G6 button area, there is a large navigation button, which, when pressed, automatically activates mobile navigation with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

GPS and Glonass

More satellites - greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto use the Alpine satellite signal antenna for more accurate position determination.

Mobile navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, providing voice announcements of upcoming intersections and visual, easy-to-read alerts. As an intersection approaches, the map screen zooms in so you can clearly see which way to go. Throughout the route, large signs and directions will indicate the necessary direction and warn you how much of the journey is left. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant, or cafe and indicate how much time it will take to visit the selected location. Press the Alpine player's navigation button twice to directly activate Apple CarPlay, without navigating through the selection menu.

Mobile navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, continuously updated traffic information, lane guidance recommendations, and many other useful features. Whether you use your phone or the car player's screen, Android Auto was designed with road safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple controls, all this allows the driver to stay focused on the main goal - safe driving. The i902D-G6 works seamlessly with Android Auto and Google Maps. Android Auto can use the Alpine player's navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current car position.
