The X903D-G7 Alpine Style navigation system for the Volkswagen Golf 7: get perfect system integration for your Golf and enjoy amazing infotainment features.

The 3rd generation system for the Golf 7 features a much faster navigation CPU and larger system memory for smooth system operation. You can now also zoom in and out of the navigation map using finger pinch gestures.

Only Alpine offers the biggest screen size possible (9-inch), as well as extensive media options including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and cutting edge iGo Primo Nextgen navigation with TomTom maps. High-Resolution 9" Touchscreen Display

Turn your car's dashboard into a high-class cinema: the highlight of the Alpine system is the high-resolution 9" display – the largest screen you can imagine on a Volkswagen dashboard. In fact, it's more than twice the size of the original 5" VW Golf 7 RNS 310/315 radio display. This extra-large screen will stun you with its high-resolution image quality – you have to see it to believe it.

Multifunction Steering Wheel Buttons

The Alpine system is connected for control with multifunction steering wheel buttons. This means that after installing the Alpine system in your car, you will not lose the convenience of controlling it with multifunction steering wheel buttons – volume, phone, track skipping, and many other commands. If you have an iPhone, you can even activate Siri by pressing a steering wheel button.

Driver Information Display

The small display in the instrument cluster also remains connected to the Alpine system and indicates radio station names, song and artist information, calls, navigation turn-by-turn indications, and much other information.

Parking Sensors

Does your car have an original parking sensor system? By installing an Alpine multimedia system, you will not lose this parking system. The parking system is connected to the Alpine, and you will see parking system information on the screen. During car parking, the music volume is reduced so that you can hear the parking system warning signals. i902D-G7 / X903D-G7 2nd generation parking system display is even more detailed.

Rear View Camera

Does your Golf 7 have a rear view camera? You can also connect it to the Alpine system. The camera is activated when reverse gear is engaged. If your car does not have a rear view camera, we recommend installing one additionally.

Vehicle Parameter Information

The Alpine system is fully compatible with the Golf 7's electronics system, so you will see vehicle information on the 9" screen, such as oil temperature or turbo pressure.

Compatible with Dynaudio Sound System

Alpine Style systems are compatible with the original Golf 7 Dynaudio sound system. An additional KWE-DY01G6 interface is required to connect the Alpine Style head unit to the Dynaudio amplifier.

Startup Logo

Alpine provides 4 main welcome logos (Golf, GTI, GTD, or R), but it is very easy to create your own personal logo and upload it to the system.

Air Conditioning Display

i902D-G7 / X903D-G7 displays information on the screen about the selected temperature for driver and passenger zones, air conditioning system settings, seat heating, fan, etc. This information lights up on the screen for a few seconds when you adjust these parameters.

Wireless Charging Console

A very convenient Golf 7 upgrade is the wireless charging console KCE-G6Qi. This small rubberized pad fits perfectly in the central console of the Golf 7 and provides Qi-type wireless charging for phones with this technology. KCE-G6Qi can be used with any original Golf 7 radio or other audio system.

Enjoy the Big Screen

On the large Alpine system screen, you can watch movies, music videos, or TV shows from various video sources – DVD (installed additionally), USB drives, smartphones with HDMI interface (additional cable or adapter required), or other video sources. You can also connect your iPod or iPhone and enjoy videos on the 9" high-resolution screen. During traffic jams, you can watch TV programs – the new Alpine DVB-T2 tuner (TUE-T220DV) is designed for this. For traffic safety, video playback is only possible when the car is stationary.

The innovative i902D-G7 / X903D-G7, working with Apple CarPlay, allows smart use of the iPhone while traveling. Apple CarPlay enables iPhone users to make or answer calls, use maps, listen to music, or view messages in an incredibly intuitive way with voice command or a simple touch of the screen. Stay connected and enjoy Spotify, online radio stations, or music recordings while traveling. Simply connect your CarPlay-enabled iPhone to the Alpine player's USB port and you're ready!.

Works with Android Auto

Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multifunction steering wheel buttons, new voice commands – all this is designed to allow you to focus all your attention on safe driving. Android Auto automatically provides you with useful information, which is presented as separate notes when needed. Both systems – Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – can use the i902D-G7 / X903D-G7 navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current car position..

Integrated Bluetooth® Technologies

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to use your mobile phone by connecting it wirelessly. Regular software updates ensure connectivity with the latest phones. The intuitive user interface makes use easy and simple. Bluetooth® allows streaming music from your phone: audio recordings or even online radio broadcasts are transmitted wirelessly to the Alpine audio system.

Connect Your Smartphone

Don't want to use Apple CarPlay or have, for example, an iPhone 4 / 4S? You can connect it and listen to music recordings in your car or charge your phone's battery.

DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio

The integrated DAB/DAB+/DMB receiver uses the most advanced digital technologies to ensure stable and clear radio program reception. DAB also provides many additional benefits compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or genre of the broadcast program.

Additional DVD Player

Expand the Alpine system with DVD and CD playback capability. DVE-5300 fits perfectly in place of the original VW CD player in the Golf 7 glove compartment or another convenient location. Video quality is ensured by HDMI technologies, and you control the player with the system's touchscreen.

USB/Aux Connection

The X903D-G7 comes with a special cable for connecting the original USB / AUX connector located in the central console, thus preserving this conveniently located connection.

Hi-Res Audio Playback

The Alpine player can play FLAC audio files – including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio.


Professional Equalizer

i902D-G7 / X903D-G7 provides the widest range of sound settings to adjust your Golf's sound system to your needs and requirements. The integrated dual 9-band parametric equalizer allows professional precise adjustment of front and rear speaker settings separately. An additional adapter KWE-DY01G6 is required for connecting the Golf 7 Dynaudio sound system.

Standard Sound Settings

10 standard sound settings allow quick switching to different sound equalizer parameter options, such as Rock, Pop, or Jazz.

Fader and Balance

Drag the listening position marker on the touchscreen to the desired location in the car cabin to change fader and balance settings.

Frequency Filters

The digital frequency filter allows setting frequency filtering limits so that the audio signal matches the car's speaker parameters and the sound is reproduced cleanly, without distortion.

Digital Time Correction

Time correction allows virtually adjusting the distance from each speaker to the listener's position by delaying the time of the closest speakers. This creates the feeling that the listener is in the center between the speakers.

Integrated iGo Primo NextGen Navigation

iGo Primo NextGen is currently one of the best navigation applications. Together with Alpine hardware and processor power, you will get a very accurate and fast navigation system for your car. For example, calculating a route from Munich to Paris takes only a few seconds. The system is equipped with many useful and unique navigation features, starting from partial address recognition by entering only part of the address, TMC traffic information messages, 3D landmark icons, and many other features. This also includes data on hundreds of thousands of points of interest (POI), making it easier to find a restaurant or other location.

GPS and Glonass

More satellites – greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. When using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto navigation and Glonass, you will quickly appreciate this improvement.

One Look Screen

Alpine's innovative "One Look" screen split technology allows you to see the navigation map and music information simultaneously on the screen. You can switch between full screen or split "One Look" screen by simply swiping the touchscreen. You can also simply push the navigation map into the left or right screen window.

Points of Interest (POI)

You can easily search for the required POI by category, name, distance, or other criteria. This is very convenient when looking for the nearest specific restaurant or gas station. Information about restaurants includes phone numbers and food type – by simply touching the screen, you can call and reserve a table for lunch or dinner.

Mobile Navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, vocally announcing upcoming intersections and providing visual, easy-to-read warnings. As you approach an intersection, the map screen zooms in so you can clearly see which direction to go. Throughout the route, large signs and directions will indicate the required direction and alert you how much of the journey is left. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant, or cafe and indicate how much time you will spend stopping at the selected location. Double-press the Alpine player's navigation button to directly activate Apple CarPlay, without navigating through the selection menu.

Mobile Navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, constantly updated traffic information, lane selection recommendations, and many other useful features. Whether you use the phone or car player screen, Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple control, all this allows the driver to concentrate on the main goal – driving safely. The X903D-G7 works seamlessly with Android Auto and Google Maps. Android Auto can use the Alpine player's navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current car position.
