DESCRIPTION

Alpine introduces the 2nd generation Alpine Style system for the Škoda Octavia 3 (model code 5E, from 2012): excellent system integration and the latest features. Only Alpine offers the largest possible screen (9") and the widest media features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You will also enjoy the excellent sound quality of this amazing system and a wealth of sound settings.

High-Resolution 9" Touchscreen

Turn your car's dashboard into a high-class cinema: the highlight of the Alpine system is the high-resolution 9" diagonal screen - the largest screen you can imagine on the Škoda Octavia 3 dashboard. In fact, this is more than 80% larger than the original 7" diagonal Škoda Bolero screen, usually found in Octavia cars. This extra-large screen will amaze you with its high-resolution image quality - you have to see it to believe it.

Multifunction Steering Wheel Buttons

The Alpine system is connected to be controlled by multifunction steering wheel buttons. This means that after installing the Alpine system in your car, you will not lose the convenience of controlling it with multifunction steering wheel buttons - volume, phone, track switching, and many other commands. If you have an iPhone, you can even activate Siri by pressing a steering wheel button.

Driver Information Display

The small screen on the dashboard also remains connected to the Alpine system and displays radio station names, song and artist information, calls, nearest turn indication for navigation (Android Auto navigation only), and much other information.

Parking Sensors

Does your car have an original parking sensor system? By installing the Alpine multimedia system, you will not lose this parking system. The parking system is connected to Alpine, and you will see parking system information on the screen. During car parking, the music volume is reduced so that you can hear the parking system's warning signals.

Rear View Camera

Does your Octavia 3 have an original Škoda rear-view camera? You can also connect it to the Alpine system. The camera is activated when reverse gear is engaged.

Rear View Camera Installation Kit

If your car does not have a rear-view camera, we recommend adding this convenient feature to the system. Using the camera installation kit (KIT-R1AU), you can easily install the Alpine multi-angle rear-view camera HCE-C252RD, the rear-view camera HCE-C127D, or the wide-angle rear-view camera HCE-C157D.

Vehicle Parameter Information

The Škoda Octavia 3 radio display is used to set different vehicle parameters and to indicate warning messages (low oil level, etc.). The Alpine system is fully compatible with the Škoda Octavia 3 electronic system, so you will see all information and warnings on the 9" screen (except messages from the original traffic sign recognition system).

Air Conditioning Display

The i902D-OC3 / X902D-OC3 displays information on the screen about the selected temperature for the driver and passenger zones, air conditioning system settings, seat heating, fans, etc. This parameter information lights up on the screen for a few seconds when you adjust them.

Start-up Logo

Alpine provides 2 main greeting logos (Skoda Octavia 3, Skoda Octavia 3 RS), but it is very easy to create your own personal logo and upload it to the system.

Enjoy the Large Screen

On the large Alpine system screen, you can watch movies, music videos, or TV shows from different video sources - DVD (optional), USB media, smartphones with HDMI interface (additional cable or adapter required), or other video sources. You can also connect your iPod or iPhone and enjoy videos on the 9" high-resolution screen. During traffic jams, you can watch TV shows - for this purpose, the new Alpine DVB-T2 tuner (TUE-T220DV) is available. For traffic safety, video playback is only possible when the car is stationary.

Works with Apple CarPlay

The innovative i902D-OC3 / X902D-OC3, working with Apple CarPlay, allows you to intelligently use your iPhone while traveling. Apple CarPlay allows iPhone users to make or answer calls, use maps, listen to music, or view messages in an incredibly intuitive way by voice command or a simple touch of the screen. Stay connected and enjoy Spotify, online radio stations, or music recordings while traveling. Simply connect your CarPlay-enabled iPhone to the Alpine player's USB port and you're ready to go!

Works with Android Auto

Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multifunction steering wheel buttons, new voice commands - all this is designed so that you can focus all your attention on safe driving. Android Auto automatically provides you with useful information, which is presented as separate notes when needed. Both systems - Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - can use the i902D-OC3 / X902D-OC3 navigation antenna to determine the exact position of the car more accurately.

Integrated Bluetooth® Technology

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to use your mobile phone wirelessly. Regular software updates ensure connectivity with the latest phones. The intuitive user interface makes it easy and simple to use. Bluetooth® allows you to stream music from your phone: audio recordings or even online radio broadcasts are wirelessly transmitted to the Alpine audio system.

Don't want to use Apple CarPlay or do you have, for example, an iPhone 4 / 4S? You can connect it and listen to music in your car or charge your phone's battery.

DAB/DAB⁺ Digital Radio

The integrated DAB/DAB⁺/DMB receiver uses advanced digital technologies, ensuring stable and clear reception of radio programs. DAB also provides many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or genre of the broadcast program.

Optional DVD Player

Expand the Alpine system with DVD and CD playback capabilities. DVE-5300 is 1DIN size and fits perfectly in the glove compartment or another convenient location. Video quality is ensured by HDMI technologies, and you can control the player with the system's touchscreen.

USB / AUX Connection

The i902D-OC3 / i902D-OC3 kit includes a special cable for connecting the original USB / AUX connector, located in the center console, thus preserving this conveniently located connector (for 2016 model year Octavia cars with SmartLink, an additional cable may be required).

Hi-Res Audio Playback

The Alpine player can play FLAC format audio recordings – including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio.

Professional Equalizer

The i902D-OC3 / i902D-OC3 provides the widest range of sound settings so you can tune your Octavia's sound system to your needs and requirements. The integrated dual 9-band parametric equalizer allows professional and precise adjustment of separate settings for front and rear speakers.

Standard Sound Settings

10 standard sound settings allow you to quickly switch to different sound equalizer parameter selections, such as Rock, Pop, or Jazz.

Fader and Balance

Move the listening position marker on the touchscreen to the desired location in the car's interior, thus changing the fader and balance settings.

Frequency Filters

The digital frequency filter allows you to set frequency filtering limits so that the audio signal matches the parameters of the car's speakers and the sound is reproduced cleanly, without distortion.

Integrated iGo Primo NextGen Navigation

iGo Primo NextGen is currently one of the best navigation applications. Together with Alpine hardware and processor power, you will get a very accurate and fast navigation system for your car. For example, calculating a route from Munich to Paris takes only a few seconds. The system is equipped with many useful and unique navigation features, starting with partial address recognition by entering only part of the address, TMC traffic information messages, 3D landmark icons, and many other features. This also includes data on hundreds of thousands of points of interest (POI), making it easier to find a restaurant or other location.

GPS and Glonass

More satellites - greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. Using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto navigation and Glonass, you will appreciate this improvement very quickly.

One Look Display

Alpine's innovative "One Look" screen splitting technology allows you to view the navigation map and music information simultaneously on the screen. You can switch between full screen or split "One Look" screen by simply swiping the touchscreen. You can also simply slide the navigation map to the left or right screen window.

Points of Interest (POI)

You can easily search for the required POI by category, name, distance, or other criteria. This is very convenient when looking for the nearest specific restaurant or gas station. Restaurant information includes phone numbers and food type - by simply touching the screen, you can call and reserve a table for lunch or dinner.

Mobile Navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, providing voice announcements about upcoming intersections and visual, easy-to-read warnings. As an intersection approaches, the map screen zooms in to clearly show you which direction to go. Throughout the route, large signs and directions will indicate the necessary direction and warn you how much of the journey is left. Looking for a gas station, restaurant, or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant, or cafe and show you how much time you will spend stopping at the selected location. Press the Alpine player's navigation button twice and you will directly activate Apple CarPlay, without navigating through the selection menu.

Mobile Navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, constantly updated traffic information, lane selection recommendations, and many other useful features. Whether you use your phone or car player screen, Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple controls, all of this allows the driver to stay focused on the main goal - safe driving. The x902D-OC3 works seamlessly with Android Auto and Google Maps.
