Although our AE coaxial systems were developed with budget in mind, they offer the well-known AXTON quality in terms of workmanship and sound. All 2-way coaxial systems feature sturdy Euro-DIN baskets and fit into the original mounting openings of most vehicles, especially due to the appropriately sized strontium ferrite magnets in the low/mid range. The mid-range speakers feature lightweight, low-resonance injection-molded polypropylene cones, which are characterized by high rigidity, high internal damping and ensure precise reproduction across the entire frequency range. This is complemented by a lightweight foam surround, which makes the impulse response even faster and increases the moving mass even less than is usual with other materials. Our coaxials feature a very compact 13 mm neodymium tweeter with a mylar dome, which guarantees a lively, differentiated high-frequency reproduction.
