Battery discharge protection
Parking mode
If the DVR goes into parking mode, this controller will power it from the battery even when the car ignition is turned off or until the time settings in the controller are triggered.
Off timer
With Power Magic Pro you can configure the BlackVue dashcam to power on for a preset time, from 6 hours to infinity. The timer function is active only when the vehicle ignition is off and is automatically turned off if the ignition is on. Regardless of the timer settings, the power is turned off if the battery voltage drops below the configured voltage threshold.
Low voltage disconnection
When the vehicle's ignition is off, the Power Magic Pro controller periodically checks the voltage of your car's battery. If the voltage drops below a set level, the controller automatically turns off the power supply to the video recorder, thus protecting your car's battery from being completely discharged.
