Exclusive components and unparalleled craftsmanship make the difference – all, of course, entirely Made in Germany!
The unique "MicroSphere" coating is one of the main reasons why the sound accuracy of the new 165 mm / 6.5″ high-end mid-woofer GRAPHIC GL6 is unparalleled. Through a patented process, micro-ceramic hollow spheres with a diameter of 75 microns are embedded in a polymer layer and applied to the cone. The coating ensures excellent internal damping without negatively affecting the moving mass. This innovative technology increases the stability of the hand-scooped cone, allowing for better dynamics and greater sound definition than ever before.
Of course, all other details of the GL6 loudspeakers strictly adhere to the BRAX philosophy without exception. Starting with the special rubber surround shape to ensure long linear excursion and a new dust cap geometry to soften the response in the upper midrange. The 24-carat gold-plated terminal ensures insignificant contact resistance, while the sturdy aluminum die-cast basket encompasses the powerful and precisely machined magnetic system, ensuring the highest flux linearity and excellent efficiency, carefully protected by a solid cover with the BRAX logo.
As with all BRAX loudspeakers, each pair of mid-woofers comes with its own serial number, duly registered in our database. It goes without saying that such valuable products will be delivered in a luxurious wooden case, emphasizing the BRAX brand's approach and philosophy.
