For many years, the BRAX MATRIX speaker series has been synonymous with unparalleled sound and quality characteristics. In view of this, the focus of the further development of the 2.1” / 54 mm midrange speakers had to be on state-of-the-art technologies and sophisticated materials to meet the requirements of the BRAX brand – pure and precise sound reproduction.

A new, ultralight and finely meshed silk dome with a visco-elastic Acronal coating on both sides guarantees a wonderful and smooth high-frequency reproduction. Furthermore, the integrated pure sheep's wool and damped coupling volume allow a very low resonant frequency and enables a deep acoustic coupling.

In terms of design and technology, the BRAX philosophy is continued without exception:
A gentle, valuable appearance reveals many clever details, a two-piece CNC machined stainless steel housing for maximum heat dissipation. An ultra-precisely machined, 10-times ventilated neodymium magnet will generate the highest magnetic flux, and integrated 24-carat gold-plated terminals ensure maximum conductivity. The threaded housing with a solid mounting ring at the rear of the housing provides a perfect method to clamp the speaker with equal pressure, without the need for complicated, unsightly mounting elements. Add to that a solid protective grille for the dome and you have a speaker like no other.

To meet our high quality requirements and achieve a perfect tonal interplay, each speaker set is hand-selected and paired according to its acoustic parameters. Only after selection does each speaker set receive its unique serial number, which is recorded in a service database. The exclusive wooden box in the packaging once again underlines the BRAX philosophy.
