The new BRAX MATRIX ML3 midrange speakers are masterfully crafted in Germany, using state-of-the-art technologies and the finest materials. However, only as part of a fully actively controlled high-quality sound system do the speakers fully emphasize their perfection. In such a case, the ML3 speakers impress with extraordinary sound and level capabilities, as expected from a product bearing the reference label BRAX.
The design signals high quality, and the chosen "made in Germany" components ensure the best functionality and clean sound reproduction. The aerodynamically shaped aluminum cast basket guarantees ideal voice coil ventilation, while the low-reflection rubber surround ensures unparalleled smooth high-frequency damping.
Another contribution to quality and reliability is the highly rigid and lightweight paper cone with a completely new "MicroSphere" coating. This patented technology embeds ceramic hollow spheres, with a diameter of only 75 µm, into a polyamide layer applied to the cone. The special coating not only improves the cone's rigidity but also its internal damping. However, this unique stabilization does not increase weight but ensures lightness, a low overall Q factor, and exceptional accuracy in sound reproduction.
To meet our high-quality requirements and achieve perfect tonal interaction, each speaker set is manually selected and paired according to its acoustic parameters. Only after selection does each speaker set receive its unique serial number, which is recorded in the service database.
The packaging in a valuable wooden box completes everything and once again emphasizes BRAX's high-quality philosophy. A robust stainless steel mounting ring with a grille (MR3) is optional. The robust stainless steel ring can be used as a mounting ring or a grille support ring, depending on the mounting position.
