Regarding the straightforward design of the NOX amplifiers and the complex board layout, we have developed two different models. The NOX4 was designed without crossover and filter sections. Short signal paths, combined with selected "Made in Germany" components, ensure immaculate listening pleasure and underscore the purist high-end philosophy under which BRAX was founded.
The extended version, the NOX4 DSP, provides a wide range of adjustment through an integrated 6-channel Audio-DSP. It allows not only the configuration of the four internal channels but also two line outputs.
To completely eliminate power deviations and manufacturing tolerances, we use only hand-selected transistors for the production of each NOX amplifier. In terms of power, voltage, and impedance data, we sort them into more than 300 categories. Thus, all transistors are perfectly matched in their technical parameters. This is how our BRAX amplifiers achieve their worldwide reference status.
