APRAŠYMAS
Comfort Mat AEROSPACE PULSAR 5 mm is a universal vibroacoustic material from the new Aerospace series, which combines effective anti-vibration properties with advanced sound insulation capabilities. This combination in a single layer significantly simplifies application and brings high effect with minimal added weight. Pulsar is 5 mm thick and achieves an acoustic loss factor (MLF) of 0.45, which corresponds to top anti-vibration materials. The use of an advanced vibroacoustic layer with foamed granules brings high efficiency without the need for massive body loading, making it an ideal solution for places with medium to high vibration and noise loads – typically doors, roof, trunk floor. Pulsar also significantly reduces sheet metal resonances and, thanks to its high adhesive strength of around 15 N/cm, remains firmly adhered even in demanding conditions.
The surface weight of 4 kg/m² makes it an great choice for electric and sport cars or any other application where low weight is critical.
Place to use:

About Comfortmat Aerospace technology
The Aerospace series materials combine anti-vibration and sound insulation properties in a single application layer. Unlike traditional damping layers, which often focus only on anti vibration and require multi-stage application, Aerospace uses an advanced sandwich structure that effectively absorbs vibrations and significantly isolates the passage of sound.
The technology is based on a vibroacoustic layer with foamed granules – light elastic particles with a bulk density of approximately 0.02 g/cm³ evenly dispersed in a polymer mastic with a density of 1.25 g/cm³. The resulting mixture has a final bulk density of 0.58 g/cm³, which allows for a high level of damping without a significant increase in weight. The combination of two different acoustic environments – a heavy mastic and light, flexible granules – increases the ability to absorb and lower vibrations across a wide frequency spectrum.
Aerospace technology has a great power-to-weight ratio, which is a key feature for electric and sports cars where every extra kg is important. The materials have an acoustic loss factor (MLF) of up to 0.62 (Aerospace Zenith) in the range of -10 to +40 °C, which is a value at or above the level of the most effective anti-vibration materials on the market. The high adhesive strength in the range of 11 to 16 N/cm (depending on the type of material) guarantees perfect adhesion even on vertical or curved surfaces without the risk of peeling.
In addition to acoustic parameters, Aerospace materials also have a significant impact on the rigidity of the body. Bending strength tests show that, for example, the Galaxy and Zenith models increase the resistance to sheet metal deformation even more than conventional anti-vibration materials. Low water absorption (below 0.7%) and resistance in a wide temperature range (from extreme heat to deep frost) are also key features of Aerospace materials.
