Files in this format dominate computers, MP3 players, smartphones, etc., so many drivers want to listen to MP3 files in their cars as well. In the latest car models, factory head units already support MP3 CD-Rs or even have a USB port. However, for owners of older cars, listening to MP3 music without changing the factory head unit is not possible. In this case, there is an excellent solution - a USB/SD adapter. This device connects to the factory head unit via the CD changer port and functions as a virtual CD changer. The USB adapter retains the full functionality of the head unit and its steering wheel controls (if available) and is operated like a regular CD changer. Furthermore, any external audio sources can be connected to the adapter via the AUX input.

Note: If a CD changer was not factory-installed in the car, then the CD changer connection on the head unit must be activated by the car manufacturer's representatives using DIAG2000 or PP2000 diagnostic equipment. For the CD and song number to be visible on the head unit screen, the CD changer Display function must be activated.

IMPORTANT! The file system of the USB drive or SD memory card must be FAT/FAT32 format. The internal directory structure must be: CD01, CD02, CD03... up to max. CD10, depending on the head unit/CD changer capabilities. A maximum of 99 songs can be uploaded to each directory. File names must consist only of Latin letters (Lithuanian, Russian, German, etc. characters are not allowed) and numbers. Do not use dots in the name, e.g., "feat." or "01.". In such cases, use spaces " ", underscores "_" or hyphens "-" in the name. All adapter connections must be connected as specified or indicated in the instructions. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN THE ADAPTER NOT WORKING OR WORKING IMPROPERLY!
