CTK Standard DOORKIT - this is a kit of three types of optimal and effective materials for sound insulation of two car doors. Sheets, measuring 37x50 cm. The kit includes: CTK Standard Professional 2 mm (8 pcs. / 1.48 m2) - damping mats made of butyl and aluminum, designed to reduce vibrations of metal sheets and door trims that occur when driving a car and due to the operation of the sound system. The mats should be glued directly onto the inner and outer sheets of the door chambers (sufficient for about 70-80% of the surface) and in several places on larger and most resonant flat surfaces of the door trims. CTK Elastic 6 mm (2 pcs. / 0.37 m2) - waterproof, thermo-acoustic rubber foam, installed as a second layer on the damping mats in the door chambers, to improve the acoustic insulation of the passenger compartment. CTK LineFix 7 mm (4 pcs. / 0.74 m2) - high-quality, very soft, Premium class sound-absorbing foam with a "shape memory" effect (slow expansion after compression), designed for sound insulation on the back of door panels. DESCRIPTION OF KIT MATERIALS: CTK Standard PRO 2.0 - CTK Standard Professional (PRO) is a high-quality, technologically advanced material that absorbs vibrations in the form of self-adhesive mats, made of butyl rubber and specialized polymer additives. The exterior has a 100 micrometer (0.1 mm) thick embossed aluminum foil, which strengthens and mechanically protects the damping material and additionally improves its acoustic properties. Due to the specially selected butyl rubber composite, high installation flexibility, moderate weight, as well as very high viscosity and adhesion to the substrate (comparable to Premium mats) properties were achieved, while maintaining a high vibration damping efficiency, a level offered by similar materials of greater thickness and weight. CTK Standard PRO mats are designed for effective damping of vibrations and acoustic resonances.
