CTK Practic is a vibration-damping material in the form of self-adhesive mats, made of a butyl-polymer composition with a low resonance frequency, good adhesion to surfaces, and very high flexibility. The exterior features an embossed aluminum foil with a thickness of 0.06 mm (60 micrometers), which provides mechanical protection, reinforces the damping material, and further improves its acoustic properties. CTK materials from the Practic range offer a good combination of high quality and effective damping properties while maintaining an attractive price. This makes the products in this series widely used in various applications and industries. Compared to other materials, CTK Practic mats have one of the highest mechanical loss factor (MLF) values, which determines the material's ability to effectively dampen vibrations. These materials are designed for basic, inexpensive sound, vibration, and resonance absorption for acoustic elements of car bodies (doors, floors, roof, trunk, hood, upholstery, etc.). They can also be used indoors, for example, for noise suppressors and industrial equipment, computer equipment, air conditioning equipment, household appliances, and even metal sinks, shower trays, and bathtubs. The product is non-toxic, waterproof, does not absorb moisture, and does not decompose under weather conditions. It has anti-corrosive and sealing properties. CTK Practic materials are also well-suited for basic car acoustics improvement when installing and using car audio equipment, as well as when purchasing or updating sound insulation, for example, after repairs to vehicle body components.
