The 9900 series subwoofers are the ideal choice for the demanding bassaholic with a profound interest in physics. Inquisitive minds will revel in the endless system design possibilities these precision bass drivers afford.

Originally dubbed The Beast, 9900 series subwoofers first hit the market in the early 2000s. After a brief hiatus, they are back and now more powerful than ever. The latest version was developed in response to the recent explosion of ultra-low frequency music. These subwoofers were engineered for long-term power handling, precision, and high excursion. They have been optimized for the 1500 – 2500W power band, with the ability to handle bursts up to 10,000W. One glance at the 9900 motor tells you why we call it the beast. It features a 3-inch magnet slug, over 10″ OD, and weighs 70 pounds (motor only). A traditionally narrow DD magnet gap drives the 4″ flat wound aluminum voice coil to a top-end excursion of over 3 inches while keeping enough windings in the gap for power and control.
