Features:
The 9900 Series speakers were created in response to the explosion of bass in music across all genres. These subwoofers were designed to deliver long-lasting power, precision, and ultra-long excursion.

The 9900 motor is a monster, with a 3-inch magnet assembly, over 10 inches in diameter and weighing 70 pounds. The traditionally robust DD magnet gap drives long excursion flat aluminum voice coils to peak excursions exceeding 3 inches, while maintaining enough windings in the magnetic gap to maintain power and control.

Beauty of the Beast

The 4” 9900 coils feature the same innovations developed for the Z Series coils, a 5-layer former construction with dual aluminum sidewalls, perimeter venting, dual slit former to reduce eddy currents, and double baked and coated for maximum temperature resistance.
