INFORMACIJA

The AM-3 incorporates many of the same "state of the art" design elements as its larger counterpart, the AW-6.5a. An open design cast aluminum basket provides an ultra-rigid support system, and also acts as an additional heatsink and shorting ring. A high energy dual neodymium motor, equipped with a shorting ring, perfectly matches a 1” copper-clad aluminum wire, Kapton former voice coil, ensuring balanced output efficiency and power handling. An aluminum cone with a butyl dust cap offers a neutral sound quality, provided by a paper cone with the precision that only an ultra-rigid cone can provide. This combination achieves wide bandwidth and efficient energy transfer to the air. Features: Aluminum cone, cast basket, acoustically damped, butyl dust cap, butyl surround, dual neodymium motor with shorting ring, 1” CCA voice coil with Kapton former, laser etched backplate, machined aluminum grille with HB geodesic pattern, compatible with optional CX02 2-way passive crossover.
