The AT-28a offers a sweet rich sound with extraordinary detail and excellent response in a confined space. It features a lightweight, ultra-stiff ceramic dome that provides excellent damping and offers a breakup mode thousands of cycles above the audible range. A powerful neodymium motor and supple silk surround keep the moving parts linear during the excursion cycle, ensuring nearly perfect pistonic motion and superb accuracy. A tuned rear cavity extends the tweeter’s low-frequency response for a wider usable frequency range. Features: Ceramic dome, treated silk surround, neodymium motor, tuned rear cavity, laser engraved backplate, compatible with optional CX02 2-way and TXOHP high-pass, passive filtering device.
