25 midrange speakers represent "state-of-the-art" in driver technology. Machined motor structures with distortion-reducing Faraday rings are held to the tightest tolerance standards and provide a well-damped magnetic field for the voice coil. The suspension has been optimized for sharp midrange and controlled low-end response. The coil wire is of the highest temperature grade and held by the best adhesives. The coil former is vented, and the wire thickness/coil former thickness has been optimized to reduce moving mass. The adhesive from the coil to the cone is joined with a specialized, hardened material to transfer all the energy from the coil to the cone. The cone is made of lightweight aluminum for a wide frequency range and efficient energy transfer to the air.
