The SL700 series is a nostalgic nod to 2000s subwoofers, designed to play whatever music the system is tuned for. With a rich pedigree that traces back to the DD9000/DD4500 series from that era, SL700 models combine robust, low mass cones, beefy dual spiders, high-compression EROM surrounds, and a high-energy 3-inch voice coil that hits hard, low, and fast.

While current subwoofer trends gravitate toward air movement and hair tricks, we've been asked to develop music-oriented subwoofers that are highly efficient in smaller, everyday driver enclosures. By focusing the bandwidth from 30-300Hz, we can optimize extension and output for these applications. Our newly developed shallow cast frames, paired with high-energy motors, allow SL700 models to fit into compact enclosures suitable for trucks, under/behind seats, motorcycle saddlebags, UTV/marine applications, and highly detailed SQ builds in sealed boxes.
