The DD Audio Z12 is a 12-inch subwoofer from the Z series. The Z series is DD Audio's flagship series, born from DD Audio's experience in designing and manufacturing top-tier subwoofers. It combines the latest technological and material innovations with meticulous manual assembly. The result is a completely different subwoofer, delivering performance unlike anything before. In the magnetic structure, neodymium rods are symmetrically positioned vertically around the voice coil. This reduces flux leakage and increases the magnetic force acting on the voice coil. Additionally, the open magnetic structure allows for highly efficient voice coil cooling. DD Audio does not specify any power rating number for the element. However, the power rating is still sufficient for most needs. A single Z series element has already surpassed the 180 dB level multiple times in dB Drag Race competitions.
