The DD Audio Z18 is an 18-inch subwoofer from the Z series. The Z series is DD Audio's flagship line, made possible by DD Audio's experience in designing and manufacturing top-tier subwoofers. It combines the latest technological and material innovations with meticulous hand-assembly. The result is a completely different subwoofer with a performance unlike anything before. In the magnetic structure, neodymium rods are symmetrically positioned vertically around the voice coil. This reduces stray flux and increases the magnetic force acting on the voice coil. Additionally, the open magnetic structure allows for very efficient cooling of the voice coil. DD Audio does not specify any power rating number for the element. However, the power rating is still sufficient for most needs. A single Z series element has already exceeded 180 dB multiple times in dB Drag Race competitions.
