The Z2c is the latest version of the world's best competition amplifier. With this version, the Z2c is able to generate more power from a lower voltage system than its predecessor. At a 14V charging level, the Z2c can generate an additional 1500 watts of power compared to the Z2b. Years of research and development have been dedicated to making this amplifier the most stable, durable, and highest power amplifier in its class. The chassis features DD Audio's exclusive HVAC thermal management system. The HVAC system is designed with an embedded bottom panel heat dissipation system, additional rear panel ventilation, and an internal brushless fan. All these features allow for high air circulation to keep your amplifier running cool, even when it's working very hard.
The chassis mounting points for the heavy 3oz PCB have been optimized for minimal PCB vibration, and the power devices are hand-wound and hand-soldered for increased durability and maximum current flow. To meet the demands of the monstrous output section, the power supply features 8 toroids and 3 x 0ga power and ground inputs.
The Z2c comes with our latest VM-Remote strength control, which features a digital voltage display and a clipping indicator. The Z2c can also be linked and ganged for multi-amplifier connection. As a final detail, all Z2c amplifiers will be sequentially numbered with chassis engraving.
