The DD Audio Z15 is a 15-inch subwoofer from the Z series. The Z series is DD Audio's flagship series, born from DD Audio's experience in designing and manufacturing top-tier subwoofers. The latest technological and material innovations are combined with meticulous manual assembly. The result is a completely different subwoofer, offering performance unlike anything before. In the magnetic structure, neodymium rods are symmetrically positioned vertically around the voice coil. This reduces flux dispersion and increases the magnetic force acting on the voice coil. Furthermore, the open magnetic structure allows for highly efficient voice coil cooling. DD Audio does not specify a power rating for the driver. However, the power rating is still sufficient for most needs. A single Z series driver has already surpassed the 180 dB level several times in dB Drag Race competitions. This driver is also available with:
• different colored cones
• different colored dust caps
• 0.25 ohm coils
• 0.5 ohm coils
• 0.75 ohm coils
• 1.5 ohm coils
• 2 ohm coils
