DESCRIPTION

Cutting-edge development

Like the rest of the range, the Confidence 20 features the 28mm Esotar3 soft-dome tweeter, plus an improved 18cm NeoTec MSP woofer and an innovative down-firing bass port.

Its drivers feature cutting-edge developments in airflow technology (including a much larger rear chamber and optimized venting in the tweeter, plus the resonance-stabilizing Hexis inner dome); simulation-derived diaphragm thickness; super-powerful neodymium magnets; and the Compex front baffle.

The 28mm Esotar3 soft-dome tweeter takes over 40 years of Dynaudio expertise, plus plenty of learnings from the award-winning Esotar Forty unit – and rolls it all into the finest tweeter we've ever created. A powerful neodymium magnet system, innovations in airflow routing, the resonance-busting Hexis inner dome... it all combines to increase detail, clarity and sensitivity.

The 18cm NeoTec MSP woofer also has neodymium under the hood, and uses glass-fibre in its voice-coil former for optimum stiffness. The voice-coil itself is aluminum, which lets us use the ideal weight (or lightness, depending on your point of view) for powerful and controlled bass as well as refined midrange . And the entire woofer motor has been designed to harness airflow using an innovative venting system that's been machined directly into the magnet. (Something you can learn more about in our six-part podcast series on the Confidence).

We're guessing you want to know how it sounds... and the answer is, simply, "like your favorite artist". Nothing more, nothing less.

Very professional work and an excellent result. They installed a sound system in a Mercedes Viano camper, and the acoustics and sound detail are now on a completely different level! It's almost on par with what I hear at home from quality speakers. The subwoofer is perfectly chosen, just right for my taste. Everything was done extremely carefully, with no extraneous noises or plastic rattling, and the wiring and integration are flawless. True professionals in their field, I recommend them.

I upgraded the original audio system in my Alfa Romeo SUV. We started with sound insulation and front door speakers with an amplifier. We finished with an additional amplifier with DSP and professional tuning :) The result exceeded all expectations. I've been using it for a year now and don't want to get out of the car :) The work was done super PRO. When questions or options came up along the way, they discussed them with me, consulted and advised. The best investment and modification I've ever made to a car, and I don't regret a single euro. Highly recommend

Verry good experience. A good price for the equipment, a pretty big price for the delivery to my country (Romania), but verry fast deliverry!

Ordered yesterday, got it today. Plus I had forgotten a few things, wrote to customer service, they replied within a few minutes, added them to the same order, prompt.

I had sound and vibration insulation installed in the doors, wheel arches, trunk, and under the rear seat. The result was really noticeable. BMW g31
