DESCRIPTION

    FiiO BTR15 Headphone Amplifier with DAC

    Essentially, it is a portable Bluetooth DAC and amplifier. This device features a very attractive design and is comfortable to hold. All elements of the BTR15 are sturdy and well-made. The curved glass is particularly appealing, though due to its fragile design, it is recommended to use the included plastic protective case. On the right side of the device are several buttons for functions such as volume control, track skipping, answering calls, and more. There is also a button to switch between Bluetooth, USB, and phone modes. At the top of the device, there is a 3.5mm headphone output and a 4.4mm Balanced headphone output. Finally, at the bottom of the device, there is a single USB-C input port.

    Impeccable Sound Quality Created by High-End Components

    Inside the BTR15 are dual ES9219MQ DAC chips, which process audio up to 384 kHz / 32-bit. For this model, FiiO has implemented an independent power supply system to power the DAC and amplifier. By separating the power supply, the BTR15 can offer lower noise levels while increasing power output. The BTR15 uses Bluetooth 5.1 and supports almost all high-resolution Bluetooth codecs, including aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX LL, and LDAC. Additionally, it can play MQA files. The BTR15 boasts impressive power for such a small device. Thus, there is sufficient power for this device, unless planning to use high-impedance planar headphones. The battery provides approximately 8 hours of use before the BTR15 fully discharges. It is important to note that the BTR15 does not support fast charging, so some fast chargers may not work correctly with this device.

    Convenient Daily Use

    The BTR15 can also be controlled by an app, which offers a fully customizable (global parametric) equalizer with adjustable gain. Additionally, you will be able to control additional functions, such as distortion compensation, Bluetooth codec selection, and various operating modes, as well as several other additional settings options. The BTR15 has a rather solid microphone. During a call, the interlocutor heard me clearly, and the microphone did not pick up too much ambient noise.
