FOUR Connect fork connectors use high-quality heat shrink tubing as an insulator instead of regular rubber or plastic sleeves. Heat shrink tubing better protects the connection from oxidation than loose plastic or rubber sleeves. Many manufacturers make their connectors from brass, which has higher resistance than copper, because brass is much cheaper. When using high current connectors, it would be wise to use real copper to ensure the best connection and conductivity. All FOUR Connect connectors for 20 mm² or larger cables are made of 100% copper. The connectors are rhodium plated to ensure the reliability of the connection for many years.
