FOUR Connect fork connectors feature high-quality heat shrink tubing as an insulator, rather than conventional rubber or plastic covers. Heat shrink tubing better protects the connection from oxidation than loose plastic or rubber covers. Many manufacturers produce their connectors from brass, which has higher resistance than copper, as brass is much cheaper. When using high-current connections, it would be wise to use real copper to ensure the best connection and conductivity. All FOUR Connect connectors for 20 mm² or larger cables are made of 100% copper. The connectors are rhodium-plated to ensure the connection for many years.
