The speakers use the same solutions and technologies that were developed and implemented in the manufacturer's Top model - Wharfedale Elysian.

These are 3-way speakers with 3x6 cm ribbon AMT, "Ribbon" tweeters.
Mid-range speakers with 5 cm dome textile membrane.
Subwoofers with 16.5 cm woven Kevlar composite membranes.
With rounded sides and wood veneer veneered speaker housings are solid looking, massive and rigid.
Weight - 25.6 kg./pc.
Color: white, black, walnut.

Wharfedale Evo 4.4 received the highest ratings from What Hi-Fi - they were recognized as the best speakers of 2019 in their price group.

DESCRIPTION

Wharfedale's new EVO 4 has grown out of the extensive research and development that produced the ELYSIAN flagship loudspeakers and borrows much of the technology involved in ELYSIAN.

The primary focus is on the AMT development resulting in a radically different way of reproducing high frequency detail efficiently and accurately. Similar cabinet technology to ELYSIAN provides a stable and solid foundation for the drive units with radiused edges to help integrate the driver output with the room acoustics. In addition, the unique SLPP bass reflex system, as developed for ELYSIAN, is now incorporated in EVO 4.
