    The Grom USB adapter is designed to play music tracks through the original car stereo. The device reads audio tracks from a USB storage device, or a mobile phone with Android software. The adapter connects to the original CD changer port on the back of the stereo. It is controlled via the original stereo or steering wheel controls. Supported formats: FLAC, AAC/MP4, OGG, MP3, WAV.

    Usage

    The file system of the USB flash drive or SD memory card must be FAT/FAT32 format. The internal directory structure must be: 1-rock, 2-pop, 3-jazz... up to 59 folders, the number depends on the specific stereo model. The number of files to be placed in the directories is unlimited. The Grom adapter does not recognize subfolders. Read more in the user manual (.pdf)
    Song file names can be whatever is allowed on your computer. However, if the files start with non-standard characters, alphabetical sorting may not work correctly.
