All speaker impedances are perfectly matched for the combination with our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance at any time. In addition, we implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies that offer unbeatable practical benefits.

Audiophile wideband performance for flexible integrations
The Ci5 M50FM-S3 expands the COMPOSE platform with a highly advanced 2" wideband driver that convinces with its exceptionally compact design: thanks to its noticeably reduced outer diameter compared with typical 2" drivers as well as the implemented FlexMount technology, the Ci5 M50FM-S3 can be installed even in very tight OEM mounting locations. This makes it particularly suitable for installation positions where space constraints, unfavorable mounting angles or OEM housing limitations make conventional two- or three-way configurations difficult to realize.
Its exceptionally broad usable frequency range enables system layouts that can operate without a separate tweeter. The high power handling and clean, low-distortion high-frequency reproduction also make it an excellent choice for center applications, full-range systems or DSP-based setups that demand outstanding sound quality within minimal space.

Smart engineering for maximum efficiency, dynamics and detail resolution
The impressive performance of the Ci5 M50FM-S3 is based on a series of precisely coordinated engineering features. The specially shaped surround and innovative magnet assembly enable an unusually large linear excursion for this driver size, resulting in remarkable power handling and extremely low-distortion playback. This combination also forms the basis for an exceptionally smooth and wide frequency response for a 2” driver, free from the typical peaks or dips found in many compact wideband speakers.
At the same time, the unusually large cone area as well as the significantly reduced outer diameter (compared to conventional 2" speakers) maximizes performance and lends the driver impressive dynamic capability. Another key factor in its extended high-frequency reproduction is the aluminum dustcap, directly bonded to the voice coil. Its lightweight and rigid construction improves transient behavior well into the upper frequency ranges, contributing significantly to the Ci5 M50FM-S3's outstanding transparency and detail resolution.
The silicon-coated paper cone provides high internal damping, a natural, precise tonal character and suppresses unwanted resonance frequencies. Completing the engineering package is the powerful push-pull neodymium magnet system, whose efficient magnetic guidance increases sensitivity while keeping distortion to a minimum – the foundation for clean, confident sound performance even at demanding playback levels.

High efficiency
HELIX COMPOSE equals smart engineering and accordingly implements highly efficient 3 Ohm technology, which perfectly harmonizes with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers and at the same time allows a clearly perceptible plus in efficiency and maximum sound pressure.

High-tech polymer basket
The Ci5 M50FM-S3 speaker basket is made of a high-tech polymer composite, which has been additionally reinforced with glass spheres. The result: maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnetic system and maximum resistance to thermal influences. Last but not least, this allows for much more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installations in cramped installation conditions.

FlexMount50 – Universal meets car-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings, allowing the installation of COMPOSE FlexMount speakers in an almost infinite number of vehicles. Thus, the universal loudspeaker effortlessly becomes a vehicle-specific loudspeaker, that can be easily installed in the original installation position of the vehicle in an acoustically optimized way with the matching FlexMount adapter ring.
