With the HELIX Digital Input Module (HDM) your HELIX amplifier achieves the perfect transition into the digital world.
It extends our amplifiers with an integrated HDM slot by two optical digital stereo inputs and allows an absolutely interference-free and ground isolation signal transmission in best quality directly into the amplifier. The module is able to process digital audio signals up to 96 kHz without loss via a fiber optic cable and convert them back to analog level via two advanced BurrBrown DA converters.
But that's not all – to get the last bit of performance out of the amplifier and to avoid even the slightest impact on its input stage, the SPDIF Direct In function can be used to route the audio signal from the HDM module directly and without any detours to the amplifier's output stages.
This makes your HELIX amplifier completely future-proof and perfectly prepared
