Wireless audio streaming in HD quality via Bluetooth®
The BT HD expansion card extends your HELIX device with a Bluetooth® audio streaming function in HD quality up to 576 kbps and a sampling rate of 24 Bit/48 kHz, thanks to the BT5.0+EDR standard. The module supports SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX HD audio codecs. In addition, the module is equipped with an optical digital output in SPDIF format.
High-res audio
Thanks to the support of the Qualcomm® aptX™ HD audio codec, wireless and continuous audio transmission in HD quality is possible. Furthermore, the direct digital signal transmission from the BT HD module to the DSP without additional AD-DA conversion enables lossless audio processing and thus exceptional sound performance.
Fully controllable
The HEC BT HD supports control commands such as play/pause, track forward/backward, connect, pair and disconnect the connected DSP remote control (e.g. CONDUCTOR and DIRECTOR). The DIRECTOR display also shows the current artist and title, as well as the audio codec currently in use.
Wireless DSP tuning
The increased data throughput using the BT5.0 standard in conjunction with the DSP PC-Tool software V5 (coming early 2022) and a PC with Bluetooth® wireless technology enables wireless configuration of all DSP devices with the ACO platform. Tedious connection via USB cable is now a thing of the past.
All inclusive
For seamless installation, the device-specific side plate and a high-quality antenna for maximum transmission quality are, of course, included in the scope of delivery.
