Wireless audio streaming in HD quality via Bluetooth®
The BT HD extension card expands your HELIX device with Bluetooth® audio streaming functionality in HD quality up to 576 kbps and 24 Bit/48 kHz sampling rate, thanks to the BT5.0+EDR standard. The module supports SBC, AAC, aptX & aptX HD audio codecs. Additionally, the module is equipped with an optical digital output in SPDIF format.
High-quality audio
Thanks to the support of the Qualcomm® aptX™ HD audio codec, wireless and continuous audio transmission in HD quality is possible. Furthermore, the direct digital signal transmission from the BT HD module to the DSP without additional AD-DA conversion allows for lossless audio processing and thus exceptional sound quality.
Comprehensive control
The HEC BT HD supports control commands such as play/pause, track forward/backward, connect, pair, and disconnect for the connected DSP remote control (e.g., CONDUCTOR and DIRECTOR). The DIRECTOR display will also show the current artist & title, as well as the currently used audio codec.
Wireless DSP tuning
Increased data transfer according to the BT5.0 standard, together with the DSP PC-Tool software V5 (arriving in early 2022) and a computer with Bluetooth® wireless technology, enables wireless configuration of all DSP devices with the ACO platform. Tedious connection via USB cable is now a thing of the past.
All-inclusive
For seamless installation, a device-specific side panel and a high-quality antenna for maximum transmission quality are, of course, included in the scope of delivery.
