DESCRIPTION
The HMX 8 coaxial in-boat speaker is 8 inches in diameter and comes in black or white. Its stainless steel mesh grille provides a modern look while protecting interior components from damage. This grill also provides high frequency transfer. Gold plated terminals are corrosion resistant. This device has been tested and approved for use out on the water since it resists UV light, fog, salt, and water spray.
High excursion mobile equipment is driven by a massive magnetic group for high undistorted sound pressure. The aramid fiber spider has lead wires that are insulated with silicone for durability. The woofer features a polypropylene cone injected with UV inhibitors and co-molded Santoprene™ surround. The HMX 8 coaxial speaker has an acoustic lens on the tweeter for maximum SPL, or sound pressure level, and best off-axis dispersion.
