The Tesi 6 floorstanding speaker features a bass reflex tunnel design for dynamic sound reproduction. The cabinet is built with solid bracing, while the components used help to reduce the impact of unwanted resonance on the sound. Inspired by the Tesi 661 loudspeaker, this 3-way model from the Tesi series is primarily designed for larger rooms.

  • Recommended amplifier power: 30-160 W
  • Frequency range: 35 – 22000 Hz
  • Sensitivity (2.8 V/1 m): 92 dB
  • Amplifier load impedance: 4-8 ohms
  • 3-lane

Price is for a pair of speakers.

INDIANA LINE CONTINUES 6

The new version of the Indiana Line Tesi series, represented by the floor-standing Tesi 6 model, is characterized by an exceptionally attractive quality-price ratio. Its distinguishing features are the rational use of selected, already proven components from the Diva line and a simple but versatile form. The new Tesi series models are primarily intended for users who want to achieve an attractive, modern sound in their sound system - balanced, yet clean and dynamic. They are available in three color options: black oak, white and mocha.

STYLISH AND STURDY CASE

The Tesi 6 speaker cabinet is made of MDF, reinforced with dense reinforcement, suitable for the Indiana Line floor-standing design. The bass reflex port in the base reduces the audibility of resonances emanating from it, which at the same time allows the speaker to be placed closer to the wall without worrying about excessive bass amplification. Aesthetic rings that mask the speaker basket holders give the cabinet an elegant look. In addition, the speaker also has a magnetic grille. The slightly rounded upper edges of the cabinet emphasize the universal character of the Tesi 6 model. Compared to its predecessor, the Tesi 661 model, the dimensions of the cabinet have changed slightly - the newer design is about 1 cm higher.

HIGH FREQUENCY TRANSDUCER IN NEW FRONT PANEL

The Tesi 6 model features a 26 mm tweeter dome with an Indiana Line special feature: a radial ventilation chamber. The tweeter's magnetic system uses a powerful neodymium magnet. However, the front of the tweeter has been modified compared to previous Tesi models. Its rectangular shape is inspired by the latest Diva series speakers, although it is made using a simpler mounting technique. This new design allows the tweeter to blend in better with the appearance of other electro-acoustic transducer rings, and all speaker screws are hidden from view, significantly improving the speaker's appearance.

NEW ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCERS

In addition to the tweeter, the Tesi 6 uses three more transducers - a 160 mm mid-range and a pair of 160 mm low-frequency transducers with a high linear displacement. They have membranes made of polypropylene with a mica mixture, which gives them the necessary rigidity to reproduce even the smallest sound details with exceptional accuracy. The phase plug used in the mid-range transducer of the Tesi 661 model has been replaced in the new Tesi 6 with a dust cover, and the transducer itself operates in a compact sealed housing, completely separated from the resonant cavity of the bass reflex system. a pair of woofers operating below. All this results in an exceptional, among other things, open and clear mid-range sound and deep, unhindered bass, as it comes from a noble three-way system.

OPTIMIZATION OF USED COMPONENTS

Indiana Line Tesi 6 has four perfectly designed electroacoustic transducers. The low- and mid-frequency transducers have magnetic circuits optimized using modern design methods, and all have inductance linearization rings. A significantly increased number of magnets has reduced distortion, improved linearity and low-frequency reproduction. The diameter of the low- and mid-frequency transducers, like the older generation of the Tesi series, is 16 cm, which is larger than that of the new Diva series models (Diva 3 and Diva 5). The solutions used in them ensure clear and accurate sound even at high volume levels, regardless of the genre of music played.

UPPER SUSPENSION

The Tesi 6 model uses a new Dual-Wave suspension for low-midrange speakers. This solution resembles professional stage speakers with so-called accordion springs. For the first time, Dual-Wave technology was introduced in the new Indiana Line Diva series models. In practice, we have a precisely designed upper suspension that effectively extends the linear operating range of the speaker and reduces intermodulation distortion (especially in the low-bass range), which in turn improves mid-frequency articulation. The positive effect of this solution is especially noticeable in the sound of percussion, string and acoustic instruments.

OPTIMIZED CROSSOVER

The Indiana Line Tesi 6 floorstanding speaker features a new, highly optimized speaker crossover. It was developed using the latest design methods and specialized measurement systems. The topology and component quality of the new Diva models have been retained. The crossover ensures a smooth impedance characteristic, high efficiency, low distortion and proper sound dispersion. As a result, the Tesi 6 speaker can cooperate with virtually any amplifier.
