A three-way model boasting KEF's 12th generation Uni-Q ® driver array with MAT™, Reference 1 Meta is capable of delivering expansive, high-performance sound that goes way beyond what its relatively compact size would suggest was possible.

The benchmark of benchmarks

Since 1973, The Reference has continually set the benchmark for loudspeakers and sound reproduction. Pioneering the use of digital technologies to achieve the highest audio accuracy, each pair can be matched within 0.5dB to the laboratory-maintained reference standard.

Always innovating

Since the first Reference speaker, KEF engineers have continued to innovate using what is possible with The Reference. Ground-breaking in its first incarnation, each subsequent iteration of The Reference has added to the world's knowledge of the science of acoustics.

Designed, engineered and handcrafted in the UK

Since 1961, we have been creating remarkable award-winning loudspeakers at our UK home in Maidstone, Kent. As our flagship HiFi speakers, The Reference is still being designed, engineered, and handcrafted in Maidstone today.

Very professional work and an excellent result. They installed a sound system in a Mercedes Viano camper, and the acoustics and sound detail are now on a completely different level! It's almost on par with what I hear at home from quality speakers. The subwoofer is perfectly chosen, just right for my taste. Everything was done extremely carefully, with no extraneous noises or plastic rattling, and the wiring and integration are flawless. True professionals in their field, I recommend them.

I upgraded the original audio system in my Alfa Romeo SUV. We started with sound insulation and front door speakers with an amplifier. We finished with an additional amplifier with DSP and professional tuning :) The result exceeded all expectations. I've been using it for a year now and don't want to get out of the car :) The work was done super PRO. When questions or options came up along the way, they discussed them with me, consulted and advised. The best investment and modification I've ever made to a car, and I don't regret a single euro. Highly recommend

Verry good experience. A good price for the equipment, a pretty big price for the delivery to my country (Romania), but verry fast deliverry!

I had sound and vibration insulation installed in the doors, wheel arches, trunk, and under the rear seat. The result was really noticeable. BMW g31
