BMW extension cable 17-pin, 6.5m long, including DIN antenna extension cable and I-Bus wire. Extension cable for modifying from OEM BMW Professional Navigation to a universal aftermarket unit. Allows relocating the original head unit's connector from the car's trunk back to the dashboard area where the aftermarket radio will be installed. The pre-pinned extension cable, including the I-Bus and antenna remote control wire, allows easy modification of the head unit using original steering wheel remote control functions (if OEM equipped). Important note: always check which connector is installed in the vehicle (17 or 40 pins) before placing an order! Always disconnect all parts of the original BMW Professional Navigation system. For example: CD changer / TV receiver / hands-free interface. Additionally, we recommend resetting the battery after installation is complete.
