For this MB S Coupe, a custom, powerful, and aesthetically integrated sound system was created, preserving the original interior design and maximizing the car's acoustic capabilities.

Work performed

  • A Band Pass type subwoofer enclosure was built and installed in the trunk
  • The bass system was designed so that all sound pressure is directed straight into the cabin through the armrest
  • Special grilles made of acoustic fabric were created in the armrest, remaining unnoticed even when the armrest is open
  • Amplifiers were installed in the trunk, next to the original battery:

    -HELIX DSP
    -Ground Zero monoblock 3 kW

  • Focal (10 cm) components were installed in the front
  • Focal KX 16.5cm woofers were integrated under the feet, ensuring rich and controlled bass reproduction
  • Pods were made in the front pillars, upholstered in Alcantara identical to the original pillar trim

Result

After the work, the S Coupe received an extremely powerful, precisely balanced, and visually inconspicuous sound system, where strong bass frequencies combine with high sound quality and a fully preserved original interior style.
