This model features the latest Monitor Audio audio engineering innovations, such as the MPD III tweeter and dual RDT III C-CAM bass-midrange drivers, which deliver accurate, rich and detailed sound from a compact cabinet. The Monitor Audio Studio 89 speakers can be used with specially designed stands. These stands are designed to perfectly match the Studio 89 design and ensure optimal acoustic performance.

Studio 89 takes inspiration from the culturally explosive 1980s and Monitor Audio's iconic Studio Series, but is a thoroughly modern loudspeaker. Inspired by individual expression and the culture that shapes it, Studio 89 is the loudspeaker for the new change-makers.

Studio 89 is a compact bookshelf model that houses many of the advanced acoustic technologies found in both Platinum Series 3G and Monitor Audio's statement speaker, Hypn . Powerful twin 4 ¼” RDT III C-CAM bass-mid drivers provide punchy, articulate and controlled bass that seamlessly blends with the MPD III high-frequency transducer. The sonic package delivers exceptionally lifelike HF clarity and taught MF/LF bass precision for a truly high-fidelity presentation.

Studio 89's cabinet is finished in a deep high-gloss black paint with gold-colored drive units. This is a reference to the iconic Studio 15, which was the only model within the original Studio Series available in this stylish combination.

Delivering perfect stability for pristine audio reproduction, the Studio 89 Stand offers a striking improvement to any setup.

To ensure optimum rigidity and a perfect listening experience, bespoke metals have been used for each section of the Studio 89 Stand: the top plate is laser-cut steel, the pole is extruded aluminum, and the base is die-cast aluminum. The four adjustable feet are supplied with both chrome-plated spikes for carpeted floors and domed rubber feet for hard floors, ensuring that the stands are anchored perfectly in all situations.
