Designed exclusively for BMW 3 E46

The 7" (17.8cm) high-resolution display integrates perfectly into the BMW 3 E46 dashboard and allows the entire system to be controlled via a touchscreen. The latest video playback technologies ensure exceptionally clear, high-contrast and high-resolution images.

The navigation system is fully assembled and ready for installation in cars with a previous OEM navigation system (Navigation Business). If the car had a system with a navigation unit in the trunk (Navigation Professional), additional connection cables Alpine KWE-E46EXT are required. If the car had an original BMW radio with a CD or cassette player, additional parts are required to relocate the air conditioning control panel. All information can be found in the installation instructions. If the car has an original Harman Kardon sound system, an interface from other manufacturers is required to connect this system.

A convenient and intuitive user interface, integrated control with multi-functional steering wheel buttons, new voice commands - all this is designed so that you can focus all your attention on safe driving. Android Auto automatically provides you with useful information, which is presented in separate notes when you need it. Both systems - Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - can use the iLX-702E46 navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current position of the car.

DAB/DAB+ digital radio

The integrated DAB/DAB+/DMB receiver uses advanced digital technologies to ensure stable and clear reception of radio programs. DAB+ also offers many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or genre of the broadcast program.

Watching movies on a large screen is even more enjoyable

On the large Alpine system screen, you can watch movies, music videos or TV shows from different video sources - DVD (installed additionally), USB drives, smartphones with HDMI interface (cable or adapter required additionally) or other video sources. You can also connect your iPod or iPhone and enjoy videos on the 7" high-resolution screen. You can connect Alpine's new DVB-T2 receiver (TUE-T220D) and watch TV. For traffic safety, video playback is only possible when the car is stationary. Now you can even play FLAC Hi-Res Audio recordings – including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio formats.

Integrated Bluetooth® technologies

The integrated Bluetooth® module allows you to connect your phone wirelessly and use it for hands-free calls. The very intuitive control interface makes it easy to select the required microphone and volume settings. Speed dial buttons are for frequently used phone numbers. Bluetooth® also allows you to listen to phone music recordings or even online radio station broadcasts via the Alpine audio system.

Connect your smartphone

Don't want to use Apple CarPlay or do you have, for example, an iPhone 4/4S? You can connect it and listen to music recordings in your car or charge your phone's battery.

Multi-functional steering wheel buttons

The Alpine system is connected for control with multi-functional steering wheel buttons. This means that by installing the Alpine system in your car, you will not lose the convenience of controlling it with multi-functional steering wheel buttons - volume, phone, track switching and many other commands. If you have an iPhone, you can even activate Siri by pressing the steering wheel button.

Rear view camera

If your car does not have a rear view camera, we recommend adding this convenient feature. You can choose Alpine's standard or multi-angle (up to 180 degrees) rear view camera.

Mobile navigation with Apple CarPlay

Maps will help you reach your destination, verbally announcing upcoming intersections and providing visual, easy-to-read warnings. As you approach an intersection, the map screen zooms in so you can clearly see which way to go. Throughout the route, large signs and directions will mark the required direction and warn you how much of the journey is left. Looking for a gas station, restaurant or cafe on your route? New navigation screen buttons will help you quickly find the nearest gas station, restaurant or cafe and tell you how long it will take to visit the selected location. Press the Alpine player's navigation button and you will directly enable Apple CarPlay, without navigating through the selection menu.

Mobile navigation with Android Auto

Let Google Maps show you the way. It's easy to travel using free navigation with voice directions, constantly updated traffic information, lane selection recommendations, and many other useful features. Whether you use your phone or car player screen, Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple control, all this allows the driver not to get distracted and to concentrate on the main goal - safe driving. The iLX-702E46 works seamlessly with Android Auto and Google Maps. Android Auto can use the Alpine player's navigation antenna to more accurately determine the current car position.

Direct mobile navigation access

On the right side of the iLX-702E46 button area, there is a large navigation button, which, when pressed, automatically activates mobile navigation - with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

GPS and Glonass

More satellites - greater accuracy. This Alpine player works with GPS satellite signals and also receives Glonass satellite positioning data. This is a great advantage when traveling in areas with many high-rise buildings and in the mountains. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto use the Alpine satellite signal antenna for more accurate position determination.

Professional equalizer

The iLX-702E46 provides the widest range of sound settings so you can adjust the BMW sound system to your needs and requirements. The integrated dual 9-band parametric equalizer allows professional and precise adjustment of the front and rear speaker settings separately.

Standard sound settings

10 standard sound settings allow you to quickly switch between different sound equalizer parameter selections, such as Rock, Pop or Jazz.

Fader and balance

Move the listening position marker on the touchscreen to the desired location in the car's interior, thus changing the fader and balance settings.

Frequency filters

The digital frequency filter allows you to set the frequency filtering limits so that the audio signal matches the car's speaker parameters and the sound is reproduced cleanly, without distortion.

Digital time correction

Time correction allows you to virtually adjust the distance from each speaker to the listener's position by delaying the time of the closest speakers. This creates the feeling that the listener is in the center between the speakers.
