The 7" (17.8cm) high-definition screen perfectly integrates into the BMW 3 E46 instrument panel and allows the entire system to be controlled by the touch screen, the latest image reproduction technologies ensure an exceptionally clear, high-contrast and high-resolution image.

The navigation system is fully assembled and ready for installation in cars with a previous OEM navigation system (Navigation Business). If the car had a system with a navigation unit in the trunk (Navigation Professional), additional connection cables Alpine KWE-E46EXT are required. If the car had an original BMW radio with a CD or cassette player, additional parts are required to relocate the air conditioner control panel. All information can be found in the installation instructions. If the car has an original Harman Kardon sound system, an interface provided by other manufacturers is required to connect this system.

Both systems - both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - can use the iLX-702E46 navigation antenna to determine the current position of the car more accurately.

DAB/DAB+ digital radio

The integrated DAB/DAB+/DMB receiver uses the most advanced digital technologies to ensure stable and clean reception of radio programs. DAB+ also offers many additional advantages compared to FM broadcasts: a much wider selection of radio stations, convenient selection of radio stations by name or genre of the program being broadcast.

Watching movies on the big screen is even more enjoyable

On the large screen of the Alpine system, you will be able to watch movies, music clips or TV shows from different video sources - DVD (optionally installed), USB media, smartphones with HDMI interface (additional cable or adapter required) or other video sources. You can also connect your iPod or iPhone and enjoy videos on the 7" diagonal high-definition screen. You can connect Alpine's new DVB-T2 receiver (TUE-T220D) and watch TV. For traffic safety, video playback is only possible when the car is stationary. Now even you can play FLAC Hi-Res Audio - including 24/96 and 24/192 Hi-Res Audio.

Integrated Bluetooth® technology

Whether you're using it on your phone or your car's player screen, Android Auto was designed with traffic safety in mind. Larger touch buttons, convenient and simple control, all this allows the driver not to be distracted and concentrate on the main goal - driving safely. iLX-702E46 works smoothly with Android Auto and Google maps. Android Auto can use the Alpine player's navigation antenna to determine the car's current position more accurately.

Direct access to mobile navigation

GPS and Glonass

Professional equalizer

Standard sound settings

10 standard sound settings allow you to quickly switch to different sound equalizer settings such as Rock, Pop or Jazz.

Fader and balance

Frequency filters
